2026 Street and Utility Improvement Project Update 8-5-2026

Week of August 3rd:

The contractor has completed connecting the temporary water service system and will now begin working on sanitary sewer on Elmwood Drive at the intersection of Valley View. It is anticipated that the sanitary sewer work will be completed by the end of the week. It is possible that work on the watermain on Elmwood Drive could begin towards the end of this week. This watermain work would begin in the cul-de-sac of Elmwood Drive and work their way towards Elmwood Circle.

Week of August 11th:

Watermain construction is expected to occur on Elmwood Drive, Elmwood Circle and potentially begin on Valley View. During this utility work, trenches will be open in the streets, limiting street access during the workday.

Looking Ahead:

Following watermain construction, the contractor will begin water service construction. This would follow a similar order of starting on Elmwood Drive cul-de-sac and work their way to the east. No work on other neighborhood locations is anticipated until approximately late August at this time.

Schedules are subject to change due to weather, contractor scheduling, and other factors outside the control of the City and Contractor. Your patience is well appreciated as crews work to improve the city streets and utilities.
